Preview to WIFI studies
WiFi systems (a router plus laptops, tablets, mobile phones and more) became widespread around the year 2000.
WiFi radiation is, in fact, radio frequency radiation at multiple frequencies. Exposure is usually relatively low compared with the exposure during a mobile phone call under extreme conditions. Beyond that, a user of WiFi-based wireless equipment is exposed in two ways: personal exposure from the end device itself while using it, and chronic exposure from wireless routers, access points and range extenders, even when not using the end devices (similar to exposure from mobile phone antennas).
