EMF-EMR ARMY STUDIES

Radio frequency radiation from radar systems was the first in history for which evidence and studies were collected, as early as the 1950s. First by the Soviet Union and later also by the US Navy. This was also when evidence, and later studies, first emerged of a new illness, then called “MICROWAVE SICKNESS” and known today as “electromagnetic hypersensitivity” (EHS).

Radio Frequency Radiation from Radar Systems – Unique Characteristics

  1. The exposure varies in frequency and intensity.
  2. Transmission is usually in very short pulses (especially in modern radar systems).
  3. Those exposed subjects are usually young, healthy soldiers.
  4. When the subjects’ medical records are accessible (the military does not always allow this), the research is stronger.
  5. Military technologies find their way to the general population, so research on military technology can predict what will happen when the technology reaches civilian use.
