On this page, we present several reports and review articles on the effects, harm, and disease caused by non-ionizing radiation, with an emphasis on radio frequency radiation. These articles review and bring together dozens and hundreds of other articles in the field.
This group of reports and articles usually carries more weight than a single article.
Partial list of reports and reviews
- Lloyd Morgan, USA – Lloyd Morgan’s Article on Radio Frequency-Microwave Radiation
In his article, Lloyd Morgan also discusses:
- Exposure of fetuses
- Effects on the myelin sheath that surrounds the nerves
- Breast cancer from keeping a mobile phone in the bra
- Salivary gland cancers
- Sperm damage
- The latency periods of cancers linked to radiation exposure
- FCC standards and their limitations
- The rise in the incidence of certain cancers
- The sale of games and toys that emit radio frequency radiation and are intended for babies and toddlers
- Memory loss and brain degeneration from using computers and mobile phones (digital dementia)
His conclusions: - Children absorb more radiation than adults.
- Radio frequency radiation is a possible human carcinogen.
- Fetuses are at even higher risk than children.
- A mobile phone should not be kept in a bra.
- The mobile phone user manuals show that there is an overexposure problem even relative to today’s standards.
- Marketing and selling wireless equipment to children, as toys or in any other form, should be banned.
- Despite several government warnings, the public is not aware of them or of the danger of non-ionizing radiation.
- The non-ionizing radiation exposure standards have not been updated for decades (despite the meteoric rise in personal and environmental exposure to radio frequency radiation). They are therefore inadequate and outdated, and must be updated.
- The usage instructions for mobile phones, laptops and tablets (hold a mobile phone 2.5 cm from the head, and keep laptops and tablets 20 cm from the body) contradict the way this equipment is typically used.

- Sweden, 2013 – Lennart Hardell – Calls for Radio Frequency Radiation to Be Classified as a Definite Carcinogen!
Professor Lennart Hardell is one of the world’s leading researchers on the link between exposure to radio frequency (mobile phone) radiation and head cancers and tumors. In 2013 Hardell published an article calling for radio frequency (mobile phone) radiation to be declared a definite human carcinogen.
Hardell explains that since 2011, when IARC (the International Agency for Research on Cancer, a body of the World Health Organization) classified radio frequency (mobile phone) radiation as a possible human carcinogen, new scientific research has accumulated, including both the CERENAT study and his own latest studies. Taken together, the findings meet the “Hill viewpoints” protocol, which was used to classify smoking as a definite human carcinogen. In his opinion, there is therefore already enough scientific evidence to classify exposure to radio frequency radiation as a definite human carcinogen!!!

LONG-TERM EXPOSURE TO MICROWAVE RADIATION PROVOKES CANCER GROWTH: EVIDENCES FROM RADARS AND MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS – I. Yakymenko, E. Sidorik, S. Kyrylenko, V. Chekhun
This article summarizes studies on the carcinogenic effects of long-term exposure to low-intensity radio frequency (mobile phone) radiation from various sources. Among them:
- Studies showing that exposure to radio frequency radiation promotes and causes the development of various cancers, usually after 10 years of exposure.
- Even one year of exposure to radiation from a cell antenna led to a rise in cancer cases around the antennas.
- Studies in models and animals showed a rise in cancer cases after 17-24 months of exposure.
- A rise was seen in the production of oxidants such as 8-hydroxy-2-deoxyguanosine, and in ornithine decarboxylase.
The article also reviews the safety standards based on the heating effect, including ICNIRP’s heat-based standard, which in the researchers’ opinion, must be changed.

– Exposure to radiofrequency radiation causes and promotes cancers and oxidative stress in humans and animals. The safety standards need to be updated.
- An international group of leading researchers in cancer and radiation: Belpomme, Hardell, David Carpenter, Igor Belyaev and others, 2018 – Leading Researchers in Cancer and Radiation – Exposure to Non-Ionizing Radiation Promotes and Leads to Cancer and Electrosensitivity
The researchers summarize the current scientific literature and conclude:- In recent years, there has been a very large rise in exposure to non-ionizing radiation.
- Low-level electromagnetic fields that did not cause heating increased the risk of cancer in animals and humans.
- Some people develop an electrosensitivity syndrome.
- There is an urgent need to recognize the risk of exposure to low-level non-ionizing radiation.
In the study, the researchers note the damage mechanisms of non-ionizing radiation, including the formation of free radicals, changes in gene expression, changes and damage to DNA, impaired fertility and more (see image).

- USA, 2018, Anthony B. Miller, L. Lloyd Morgan, Iris Udasin, Devra Lee Davis – Summary by Leading Scientists – Mobile Phone Radiation Is a Human Carcinogen
Scientists Publish That Mobile Phone Radiation Can Cause Cancer Based On Updated Accumulation Of Research Evidence
- The researchers report that between 2011 and 2017, 9 new studies were published showing an increased risk of brain cancer from mobile phone use.
- 4 studies (3 in 2013 and 1 in 2014) showed an increased risk of cancers of the vestibular system.
- There is concern about a link to other cancers, such as breast cancer (men and women), testicular cancer, leukemia and thyroid cancer.
Based on the new and existing scientific evidence, the scientists call on IARC to upgrade its classification of radio frequency radiation from “possibly carcinogenic to humans” (Group 2B) to the most severe level, “carcinogenic to humans” (Group 1).

- USA, 2013, Herbert MR, Sage C. – The Link Between Exposure to Non-Ionizing Radiation and Autism
This extensive report examines and details the possibility that exposure to non-ionizing radiation may be one of the causes of the “allostatic load” on the system, which is one of the variables affecting autism. The researchers link non-ionizing radiation to autism, and the rise in exposure to this radiation to the corresponding rise in autism diagnoses over the past decades.
- The first part describes the mechanisms and processes linked both to autism and to exposure to non-ionizing radiation.
- The second part links radiation exposure to autism.

– Non-ionizing radiation may be one of the environmental agents that load the nervous system and so contribute to autism. The rise in exposure matches the rise in the number of cases. The radiation exposure safety standards should be redefined to reduce the related effects.
- International team, 22 scientists from around the world. First summary in 2007, updated in 2012, 2014 and 2017 – More Than 3,800 Studies Show Biological Effects and Disease from Exposure to Non-Ionizing Radiation – The BioInitiative Report
An international report published by 29 leading scientists in the field of non-ionizing radiation (10 medical doctors, 21 PhDs, 3 with a master’s degree).
- The report was first published in 2007 and contains a comprehensive summary of about 2,000 studies in the field. Following its publication, the standards were changed in some European countries.
- In 2012 an update of the report was published, containing another 1,800 studies.
- In 2017 another update was published.
In the 2012 update, the authors warn that the scientific evidence is now better established and shows serious harm and damage, while the use of mobile and wireless technologies is deepening and entering every home without the public being informed of the dangers, and while the danger is deliberately concealed.
The group’s website publishes a color-coded table summarizing some of the studies that show biological effects of radio frequency radiation at levels low compared with today’s standards. The table lists the studies next to the radiation level at which change and damage were seen. The summary makes it quick to understand that even very low levels of radio frequency radiation cause effects and damage in biological systems. Go to the report’s website and look for “RF COLOR CHARTS” on the home page.
The criticism directed at the report is that it is “one-sided”. Well, it is only logical that it is one-sided, since it was designed to collect and examine studies that showed biological and health effects of non-ionizing radiation, while other bodies, such as the World Health Organization and ICNIRP, mostly ignore these studies (are they one-sided too?).

- Dr. Martin Pall, USA, 2024 – The Link Between Exposure to Non-Ionizing Radiation and Autism
In this article, Dr. Martin Pall presents the mechanisms by which exposure to non-ionizing radiation (mainly radio frequency radiation) and other environmental pollutants (such as chemicals) lead to the development of autism in fetuses and children. He proposes ways of prevention and coping that focus on reducing exposure to radiation and chemicals.
