From time to time, people who are sensitive to radiation (EHS) tell me that they feel tingling in the hand holding the mouse. I can feel it too from time to time.
My first piece of advice is: don’t hold the mouse in your hand all the time. Try letting go of it when you don’t need to move anything on the screen. That way, the exposure time to the small amount of radiation it emits (low-frequency electric field and intermediate frequencies) will decrease, and the symptoms will disappear.
Lately, we’re starting to see more and more inexpensive wired keyboards with a pointer or trackball (mouse alternatives) on the market.
I bought one of these (a very good one), made by Lenovo, for the days when I also feel tingling.
After using it for a few days, I can say that the keyboard itself is excellent—small and requires some getting used to—but the buttons are great (quiet mechanical switches), and the pointer works very well.
The downsides are that I’m still not used to its size, so my typing speed isn’t high on it, I sometimes accidentally press the pointer buttons, and it doesn’t have Hebrew lettering (I bought stickers for that).
Other than that, it’s a great solution for days when I feel tingling in my hands (due to overworking in previous days or other overexposure)
