Dr F Greco describes several mechanisms by which EMF can affect EHS people. Handing ELF issues in the home office

The move

About 5 months ago we moved to a new house. The radiation levels here seemed to be even lower than the house I used to live in. RF bellow 0.0005mW/m2 and ELF-M bellow 1mG most of the time. And still, since the move, I have been coping with headaches and symptoms when working in front of the PC in my working room. Every time I find and solve a new problem, I feel better. But then a new problem presents itself, again and again.

Issues found and solved from today and back.

Today I solved (still need to see if I feel better in the next few days in order to be sure) a problem that caused me to feel sick with my stomach and to have brain fog after an hour or two of working next to the PC (laptop with external keyboard and mouse, external screen, wired network) in my home office. The problem was that the laptop and the internet switch were too close to me. They were located on the floor next to my legs. Today I moved them to the other side of the room (as far away as possible from me) and also shortened and upgraded the network cable to CAT6.

Multi Socket power outlet – a source for Electric field

A week ago I managed to find the source of the headaches that I used to get after an hour or two of working on the laptop. It was a small on-wall 3 to 1 power socket.  It was located about 60cm from me. The measurement showed only a small Electric field next to it. I decided to remove it as a part of trial and error. I was looking for the cause of these headaches a few weeks ago and since I could not find it with the meter, I started doing some changes by chance, once every day, until I removed the socket and felt better a few minutes later.

Two weeks ago, I finally solved (with the help of a professional electrician called Mani Segal)  a problem in the house’s electric grounding. The Neutral wire was connected to the ground wires and caused the currents I created in the house, to go on the ground wires to the neighbors.  I also learned that from all places I chose to sit above the ground wire. This led me to change the sitting location inside the room and to relocate some of the equipment in the room. The fix of this issue was seen on the ELF magnetic measurements. Before the fix, If I was to turn ON an electric heavy-duty appliance, say an oven, I was able to see a rise in the magnetic field as long as it was working.  Now the rize is only for a small part of a second and then the field goes down again. This problem caused me to develop headaches for 15-30 minutes of work in this room.  I knew about this problem before we moved, but I was delayed with the fix for weeks and months.

Installing ELF magnetic field protection

A month ago I installed (with the help of a professional company called Dolev ) an ELF Magnetic field protection system on one of the walls of my home office. On the other side of this wall, you can find the main electric cabinet of the house. The improvement after the fix could be measured right away. The levels of the ELF-M field were reduced (as long as no electric appliance was operating). As far as symptoms are concerned I felt an improvement, again as long as no electric appliance was turned ON.
For several days it seemed that the symptoms become better but then I saw that not every day, and not for all the day.
In this case, as in others, I postponed the fix, until I was sure about it.

New desk arrangement

A few weeks back I relocated the laptop from on the table to below it. This trial and error move proved to improve the headaches I used to get after 10 minutes of work on the PC.

In a few days, I will complete the fix by installing an EMF protection wallpaper in order to absorb some of the reflections from the metallic ELF-Magnetic field protection.

Each and every one of these steps was done while doing lots of measurements (before, during, and after) of the radiation levels using my home use meters, and according to the knowledge and experience I gained while coping with EHS and while helping others.

In some cases, I could not find the willpower to do the fixes or steps. I was exhausted. But every time I tried to do small steps and eventually managed to complete and make major changes.

In some cases, I did not know what is the cause of my symptoms. I just kept trying to do some measurements and did some steps and changes in the trial and error method. I just kept trying until one of the measurements showed a clue or one of the changes made me feel better.

What can we learn from all this:

1. Move the computer and its equipment away as possible from you. Use a wired keyboard and mouse, a LCD/LED screen with an external power supply, use a wired network.
2.  Don’t use electric socket splitters near you. Prefer the use of electric socket splitters with long cables and locate them as far as possible away from you.

3. Don’t give up. Try to change and improve.  Maybe the next step will help.

4. Keep it simple – as little as possible electric appliances and computer equipment next to you. 

5. When you don’t have a clue what is the cause of the symptoms, just pull out from the socket the electric and electronic devices, one at a time. 

6. Mental coping – Every time there is a problem, the mind starts to think that this is it. “for that problem, there is no solution”. “We will not find the problem, and will not be able to fix it”, ” I am doomed”, ” I can’t do it anymore…”. The way to cope with that is by during all the measurements, tests, trials, and errors, fixed, all in small achievable steps. to remember that after solving the issue we will not remember the hard time and suffering, but only the fix. We need to forget the suffering. At first, it is not easy, but then you get accustomed to it and it becomes second nature. 

I remind you that in this case, all the problems were in the ELF fields from in-house equipment and infrastructure. The house has no RF-emitting devices in it, and the environmental levels are mostly low.

I just saw the “Generation Zapped” documentary, and I liked it!

Today I watched the “Generation Zapped” documentary, together with 3 other Activist/EHS people here in Israel.
It took us about 8 hours to watch the 74-minute movie, as we paused and talked, changed views, and added knowledge and information about the subjects that were brought up in the movie.
I like the wide view of the movie while also covering EHS.
I believe that EHS has a key role in the campaign of awareness for safer communication, better standards, and acknowledgment of the risk, damage, and of people who got hurt, as it proves that there is an effect of EMF radiation, even in small levels.

I recommend watching it.

International call for revoking the ICNIRP’s mandate and for better standards

A call for better protective standards, and revoking the mandate of ICNIRP is made by more than 244 scientists from around the world after ICNIRP ports its draft for updates on it’s Radiofrequency so-called safety standards (a quick look reveals nothing is changed, the standards are still note protective of humans, protective of the industry and are based only on heat effect of the radiation).

The letter will be sent to the WHO – World Health Organisation.

The ICNIRP does it again – rejecting the finding of NTP and Ramzini studies that RF radiation may cause and promote cancer.

Microwave news report that ICNIRP has released an 8-page note that tries to explain why these studies’ findings will not affect the old, non-protective standard for RF exposure.
By that ICNIRP proves once again that the role it chose to play is to protect the industry from any update of the easy-to-follow, non-protective RF exposure guidelines. These non-protective guidelines were written in 1998, that don’t cover health and biological damage from RF exposure and that take into consideration only immediate damage from the rise of temperature due to RF exposure.

The trick they use is repeated every once in a while when a new study finds evidence that RF radiation exposure can cause or promote cancer or damage health in any other way.
They use the magic words: “inconsistent” and ” unreliable”  to undermine the findings while accepting and promoting studies that show a safer picture, even if proven wrong (for example the Danish cohort study)

ICNIRP prove itself once again as inadequate, biased, and irrelevant.

Therefore I suggest changing “ICNIRP” name to “ICNIRIP”.
It is a small change that will bring more “reliability” to the group.

5G might radiate more than the non-protective exposure standards.

A post in Lennart Hardell’s blog about a presentation given by Ericsson about the “challenge in meeting safety standards during 5G deployment”.
In it’s presentation (link in the post), Ericsson gives an estimation of the radiation emission from 2 of it’s infrastructure products (antenna), one at 3.5GHz, the other a 28GHz. 
Ericsson claims that the current ICNIRP (non-protective, heat-based, “good for the industry” ) standards are going to make the deployment difficult. 
I am afraid that now the industry will put pressure to allow even less protective standards to comply with the need for faster, cheaper, easier deployment of 5G.
It is very sad that the industry still thinks it can save money by exposing the public to more radiation, instead of developing their products and infrastructure in such a way that will reduce users’ and the public’s exposure.

Video – ORT HOLON fight to remove the cell phone mast continues

In front of ORT HOLON, a High school in the city of HOLON in Israel,  a cell phone mast was erected 23 years ago.  With the increase in Data usage, the exposure levels of the kids went up every year. last year, the parents noticed that most of the kids (59%) had symptoms that could be related to RF exposure from the cell phone mast just 20 meters from the school. They conducted a survey that shows 59% of the kids have symptoms. about 19% already visited their doctor in relation to these symptoms. Since the parents understood this was not just one or 2 kids, but most of the kids, they started to fight for the removal of the mast.

Two weeks ago, after a meeting in the Knesset Internal Affairs and Environmental Protection Committee, 3 antennas that faced the school (out of a total of 9) were removed. The measured/monitored radiation levels went done just 30%. Side lobes and reflection steel seem to hit the school.

Now the parents call for the complete removal of the mast. Yesterday they got the support of the Knesset Education committee that called for the removal of the mast in no more than 3 months.

Knesset Education Committee – 24/12/2018 – “remove the antennas in front of ORT HOLON in 3 months”

Today (24/12/2018) I took part in the Knesset Education Committee.
After a 1 hour discussion, the committee called for the removal of all the mast in 3 months.
This is after kids in this scall developed radiation sickness symptoms (about 59% according to a survey done by the parents ).

This is what happens (and will happen again and again) when the standards are based on heat only and are high and non-protective.

Progress or Spin in ORT HOLON – The 3 antenna panels that were facing the school were removed – RFR level still high!

Last week the 3 antenna panels that were facing the school were removed.
RF measurements done by the parents in the school and monitoring equipment on the roof show the levels of RFR were cut (by about 50%) but are still high.
The level is too high for students that already developed symptoms and are more sensitive.
In addition, they are not low enough for the temp protection that was installed to be removed.
I explained to the parents that the levels will stay high because of side and back lobes and also reflections from the building next by since there are still active panels that are not facing the school. I told the parents to expect kids who got sick, to continue to suffer from symptoms.
Although the strick is over at this point in time, the parents told me that they will continue to fight for the removal of all the mast in other means.

Knesset (Israel Parliament) committee meeting about the cell tower next to ORT HOLON – “Remove the antennas tomorrow morning”

Yesterday I attended the Knesset (Israel Parliament) committee meeting about the cell tower next to ORT HOLON.
In the meeting, the problem of the cell tower next to the ORT HOLON school was presented and discussed.  The parents presented their case and talked about the suffering of the kids in school. Both the parents of the late Itai Peretz talked about this griff and about the symptoms Itai (my his soul rest in peace) suffered from before he got sick, with leukemia.
In the meeting, Maya Elhalal, e leading Israeli high-tech interposure and consultant to the Ministry of Health talked about his EHS condition in support of the parents of ORT Holon and the kids. She argued that the science today already inform us that EMF radiation causes biological effect well under the so-called safety standards limits and that we can do better than what we did about smoking and asbestos, and lead.
The representative of the cell phone forum (PR body of the cell phone companies) was willing to dismantle the 3 antenna panels that face the school but said that the rest of the tower has to stay and this will be done only if the parents will stop their protest and strike.
The head of the committee summaries the meeting and said the committee will send a letter to the cell phone companies to dismantle the 3 panels addressing the school “tomorrow morning” (meaning very soon) as a first step while they should start the relocation process of the remaining cell phone tower.

The authority try to calm the parents of students in ORT HOLON after feeling radiation sickness symptoms

Last week there was a meeting between representatives of the Environmental Protection Ministry, The city municipality,  the school management, ORT schools network management in Israel, and the parents of students in the ORT HOLON school.
About 20 years ago, a cell tower was erected next to the school (20 meters from it). This year the parents finally noticed that their kids suffer from headaches, nausea, fatigue, and other radiation sickness symptoms.  Last year one of the students in this school died from cancer.  The parents went on a struggle to get the tower done and they are on a two-month strike in order to achieve that.

I saw a few parts of the meeting on videos and was sorry to see that all the official representatives were addressing only the quick return of the kids to school and not the removal of the antenna. The ministry representative, Prof Gelberg told the parents all kind of technical stuff that was not accurate and very simplified and somewhat misleading, like for example that he prefer cellphone towers on public buildings and that below and above the main lobe of the antenna there is no radiation (neglecting side lower/higher beams – see picture below). He also argued that the ministry is responsible only to the radiation and measurement side of the antenna, forgetting to note that the standards used are based on heat only and are not protective of humans, that the measurements are done by slow meters and therefore give partial results. I saw the municipality representative saying they can’t do anything to help, that the tests were OK and the antenna had all the documentation (other municipalities helped in the past by finding problems in the structure or the infrastructure around the antenna and demanding it to be removed on that ground). Then the representative of ORT said that all they want is the return of the kids to school in the quickest and best way (but what about the kids that are already sick and the kids that will be sick from the radiation? ).

During the meeting, there was a protest outside the school.

There is going to be a meeting in the Israeli parliament this week (15/11/2018) about this issue. In the meeting, we expect to hear the same “not my responsibility” talks, but we hope to say the truth: Standards are high and non-protective, measurements are not done adequately, people are getting sick and everyone else just wants to continue with their daily routine.

about 60% of the students in ORT HOLON are suffering from RF Radiation sickness due to a cell tower 20 meters from the school!

According to videos and publications done by the parents of this school students (ages 12-18), it seems that about 60% of the students already suffer from headache, nausea, and other symptoms of RF Radiation Sickness.
RF Radiation test reports show average levels of up to 6uW/cm2 in the school.
The parents started a stick.
The City of Holon offered to install Temp RF protection on the windows of the classes that face the antenna. It seems that it brought a 90% reduction in RF levels.

This is possible because of the high non-protective RF so-called safety standards that allow up to 400-1000 uW/cm2. This is because of the Ministry of Environment Protection policy to comply with ICNIRP standards.  Until RF safety standards are based on Biological damage and health effects of RFR, we will see this happen again and again all over the world.

a Cell phone tower next to a school in Israel caused headaches

A Cell tower, that was erected about 10 years ago in front of a school in The Israeli city of Holon, caused headaches and other symptoms in students. The parents went on a stick and the students did not attend the school in the past few weeks.

Now an agreement was signed between the city, parents, and the Ministry of Education to install RF Blocking nets over the walls and to ban the use of cell phones in the classes.
In addition, a RF monitoring station would be installed in the school, but it’s measurement is expected to be partial and most likely will be used to calm the public as the level will always be below the standards (which are based only on thermal damage to the tissue and not on biological or health damage).

The story was reported in the local newspaper of ‘Hasikma Holon’.
I hope that this is just the first step and that the tower will be completely removed.
There is no place for cell towers near buildings and houses.
This is yet another example where the radiation from a cell phone tower caused health effects in kids. I hope this would be a lesson for those call for more cellphone towers in order to reduce the radiation levels from the phones, on the expense of 24X7 full body exposure, in multi frequencies that will rise.

The science and technology committee in the Israel parliament (KNESSET) meeting about “the careless deployment of 5G”

Yesterday, the 20/11/2018, together with Prof’ Ben Ishay, MD Yael Stain, Itamar Wagner, Batzion Shlomi, Shay Danon, Adit Aaron, I attended a meeting about the “careless deployment of 5G”.

The meeting was called by KM(Knesset Member) Yael Cohen Pharan and led by KM Uri Makleb.

I talked at around 1:32:09 
My Main points were:
1.  As far as EHS being Nocebo effect, this wrong assumption is based on faulty studies that exposed EHS people to several types of EMF even where there was not supposed to be any exposure, and on studies that exposed EHS people again and again without enough resting time between exposures. 

2. As far as the saying that “more cell towers lower the radiation”, yes they do so for the radiation from the cell phone but they add environmental radiation which is not measured correctly and not taken into account because it is lower than the so-called safety standards.  

3. I explained that most of the people who come to me for help have no idea of what radiation is, how when, and from what it is being transmitted, and what a cellphone tower looks like. So this also rolls out the nocebo effect. 

4. It is possible to reduce exposure in simple steps and it is easy to set up the phone to radiate in lower levels, for less of the time.

5. My main point was that EHS people are being ignored and no one counts or calculates the economic toll of their condition in the total economic calculation of deploying and using cellular and wireless technologies.

“Risk conception of WIFI and RF on Israeli public and media” – Study and conference 02-2019

On the last Sunday, the 10/02/2019 I took part of a conversion in Tel Aviv Center for Science Education (HEMDA – Schwartz-Reisman Science Education Center – http://www.hemda.org.il/). The reason for this conversion was a study on the Conception of the risk from wireless radiation by the public and in particular of the risk from WIFI infrastructure in schools. The study was funded by the Ministry of Technology and Science in Israel. The Study was set to examine the conception of the risk from wireless radiation and WIFI routers in the public the the influence of the Media, mainly TV over the public conception of the risk, and the way this conception appears on the online media. The researchers said again and again that this is not a study on the risk but on it’s conception by the public and appearance on the Israeli media and TV.
It is important to note that the organizers of the convention knew who I am and what my views are and since the conference was opened to the public they did not block me from taking part.

The study

From reading the study, and the article about it in the press, it is very clear that the opinion of the study team is that there is no possibility that RF radiation can cause damage or health risks.
The Conference itself also started according to this concept and according to it, until it was revealed that it might not be the case.
The climate in the conference was that the Television media was to blame for the misconception of the risk from EMF in the public eye. In particular, one show from 2016, took fire ( I took part in this TV article alongside other EHS people, activists, and scientists, please see with English CC at – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpJsIWuV-PA&feature=youtu.be).  This TV article had a big echo in Israel, and lots of EHS people understood the source of their pain and contacted me and other members of the Israeli EHS community to seek help and support.

I see the study and the conference as an attempt to do 2 things:
1. Put pressure on the media not to broadcast more Tv articles about EMF risk, cell phone risk, WIFI risk and EHS.
2. Make a point that there is no possible health effect to EMF exposure (once again) and to put those that argue that there is in a shady light.

ENG Moshe Netzer

The conference started with the lecture of ENG Moshe Netzer, who is a leading Israeli Radiation specialist who has worked in this field for more than 40 years and is regarded as one of the top professionals in the technical field of EMF measurement and protection. It was very clear from his lecture that Moshe does not support the possibility that EMF can push any danger in the low levels of WIFI. He did, however, admit in a way that it is almost impossible to measure WIFI in classes, but he linked that to the low level of the radiation and not to the use of slow RF meters with 2-5 samples each second.
Eng. Netzer also told the crowd that he was able to convince a local city council to install WIFI routers in schools when he presented them with the very low levels of RF measured from WIFI routers.

PhD Uri Lerner

The next lecture was from PhD Uri Lerner about the precautionary principle, and about the possibility that warning the public might cause more damage than the polluter itself (Nocebo effect).

Prof’ Stelian Gelberg

The next lecture was by Prof’ Stelian Gelberg about the approach and way that the Ministry of Environment Protection handles this issue. Prof’ Stelian is the head of the Radiation and Noise Department in the Ministry of Environmental Protection in Israel. Prof’ Stelian said in the past, to a Knesset committee that non-ionizing radiation can cause biological damage but in his lecture, there was almost no sign of this understanding. Those with a good ear could find some clues to that in their answers to the open questions.

PhD graduate Keren Daliot

The next lecture was by PhD graduate Keren Daliot who conducted the study. He lecture was on the study and the results. Again it was clear that the study was done based on the assumption that WIFI radiation and RF radiation can cause not health effects.

Expert Panel

At this point, the lecture part of the night was over and the panel members were introduced and took their sit on the stage. The panel was hosted by Miss Sivan Klingbail from the TV show “Osut Hesbon” (“Making the Math” a TV consumer show that did several reports of EMF and cell phone radiation last few years). The guest speakers were Prof Barak Fishbain, Prof’ Ayelet Barnea-Tzubery, the journalist Aviv Lavi (who did several articles on EMF and EHS in the last few years), and Miss Hadas Wagman from Tnuda (who should be working closely with Prof’ Sigal Sedesky),

At the beginning of the panel, it looked as if it is more of a tribunal judging the media about airing TV reports about EMF health risks and EHS. Most of the fire was aimed to the Ch2 from 2016 which got the popolistic name “How are we killing ourselves: Radiation” (please see link above).  I see this criticism as an attempt to put pressure on the TV media not to bring forward future reports about the possible health risks of EMF and about EHS. I think that EHS in particular creates a lot of anger in people who don’t believe there can be any health risk to RF or EMF.  If our condition is caused by exposure to EMF, it can be the prof they would not like to see, so they put the Nocebo effect as the cause of EHS and try to fight back when we try to warn others. 

The panel, as the lectures before it, seemed to conduct the discussion under the assumption that there is no chance that EMF , RF or WIFI can cause a health risk.  This was suddenly interrupted when Journalist Aviv Lavi said “But this is not what Sidesky said”. Lavi said that he had a lot of time with Sidesky during several interviews he did with her and that he had heard her say that there might be a risk, that we still don’t know how it is caused or how much the risk, that there is a debate about the possible risk and that giving a cell phone to a child is child abuse.  This view of Prof’ Sedisky was brought to the public several times during TV Interviews with her (for example here – https://youtu.be/IVvfDNlZoaw?t=96 and here – https://news.walla.co.il/item/2965687 both in Hebrew).

From here on the discussion continued with that in mind. I think that this remark by Aviv Lavy stopped the attacks made on the media and the discussion moved to what we can do to reduce the exposure. 

Open Questions

On the open question part, we (me and 2 other EHS/activists and one nonEHS activist) asked questions. My question to Prof’ Ayelet Barnea-Tzubery was “do you think your position that there is no possible risk to EMF exposure, which we now understand is not the opinion of all the scientists in this field,  influenced the data gathering and processing in this study”,  she answered a quick “No, we had to people examining the data in a binary way” , I replied “yes but both believe there is no risk.

The other activist also asked questions. 

At the end of the panel discussion, the host asked Prof’ Stelian Gelberg to answer “Yes” or “No” to the question can she sleep with no worries about the WIFI use in schools. He paused for a few seconds and then gave a short lecture about the ministry activity in ELF-M, RF from mobile phone masts, and WIFI in schools, closing it up with “of course”. I understand his answers as “we are doing what we can”.

Why do I love the ENV RD10 so much?

I am in love.

My wife knows all about it. 

It is not a secret, I talk about it all the time.

And my wife, she knows it is my new baby.

I am proud to say I helped in the process of the ENV RD10 creation. 

I helped by defining the use cases, the features, and the requirements.

I also helped in the QA during the stages of development of the meter and the PC software. 

And now, since the day I got it, it is in my pocket, with me wherever I go.

It is sooooo wonderful.  

The ENV RD10 is a tiny EMF meter.

It is so tiny I forget it is in my pocket.

It fit perfectly into my Zippo pocket in my jeans. 

It is so tiny that most of the complaints we get from people are that they don’t remember where they left it. 

The ENV RD10 can measure RF, ELF Magnetic field, and ELF Electric field.

It marks the level of the radiation on it 9 color LEDs (4 green, 3 yellow, 2 red). 

It has an audio alarm that goes off whenever the levels exceed the fourth green light (in all the modes).

It has a sampling rate of 20000 per second, so it catches even the fast pulses. 

In RF mode it can measure between 100MHz to 8GHz, from 0.0005mW/m2 to 100mW/m2.
In ELM mode it can measure from 0.2mG to 20mG.
In ELE mode it can measure from 2V/m to 1000V/m.

It has a MINI USB connection that you can use to charge the internal battery or connect it to a smartphone(in airplane mode) or a PC or Mac for Numerical measurements and recording of the measurement(!!!). 

The battery can last for 7 hours in normal mode, or for 12 hours in audio-only mode(only audio alarm, no light on LED bar). 

Users profile

1. For people who don’t like to read numbers and need a first easy-to-operate all-in-one meter.

2. For EHS people as a second “in a pocket” & “go with” alarm meter.

What are the main use cases:

1.  Training  – the meter is so easy to use and the reading is very easy to understand. So the meter makes the best choice for training and demos. 

2. Finding EMF sources and penetration points – The meter can be used to search your house for EMF sources and penetration points.  It will also allow you to see it the protection installed or the steps you did in order to reduce exposure helped,

3. An Alarm pocket size all in one meter – Can be used by EHS people, while they are on the go, while in their pocket, to alert them of rooms or places with high levels of RF/LFM/LFE radiation, or it someone with a hidden RF source approach them (happens to me all the time, and the meter sounds the alarm reminding me to ask this person to turn off his devices).

4. As a recording meter (when operating with the software on the PC/MAC/Smartphone (in airplane mode) to allow the user to record long measurements, even over a few hours!!!

Special Features:

The meter has several software versions (embedded) that include special features:

1. High Sensitivity mode – this version makes the meter’s alarm sound off on the third green light (in RF it will sound off at 0.1mW/m2, while in normal sensitivity mode, it will at 0.5mW/m2). 

2. Accumulation mode –  this version makes the meter count the number of times every LED was lit over the last operation. The numbers accumulated will be displayed on the PC software the next time the meter is connected to the PC. The numbers will give you an estimation of your exposure during the day. This feature brings down the sampling rate to 5000 per second.

3. Audio-only mode – “Audio only” or “battery safe” mode the LED lights do not light up. This allows the meter to work, with an audio alarm while in your pocket, for about 12 hours on a single charge.

DIY RF ALARM SYSTEM FOR YOUR HOUSE!!!

If you are an EHS person (Electromagnetic Hypersensitive person) you probably experienced what if feels like when you open the door of your house and a person with a smartphone or other RF-emitting device, comes into your house. At first, you might not notice it, but after a while, you will start feeling the pain.
In order to reduce the chance of that happening we need an RF ALARM SYSTEM that will go off when it detects an RF signal.

It is possible to do it using the ENV RD10 that can beep when the RF levels are higher than 0.5mW/m2, or with the CORNET ED88TPLUS (update from 2023, it is also possible to do with the CelloEye detectors, see end of post) that sounds the alarm when RF levels are higher than 0.18mW/m2. In the case of the CORNET ED88TPLUS  you can also add an external speaker that will make the alarm sound very loud.
Both the ENV RD10 and the CORNET ED88TPLUS can be used with an external power supply.
For those of you who turn off the electric power, both meters (and speakers) can be used with an external power bank.
